    Royal Oak Racquets Club invites you to take part in our women's squash programme

    The programme is open to players from absolute beginners through to those who have played squash previously and would like to get back into the game.

    The Women in Squash programme is conducted in a no-competitive environment designed to promote the fun, fitness and health benefits of squash.

    Programme Content

    Learn to play squash through a series of 6 one hour coaching sessions over a six week period

    You will learn the following fundamental skills of squash

    The serve, grip, forehand and backhand

    Basic game strategy, rules and etiquette

    Basic footwork

    Strategies for imroving your game

  • Club Night at the "Oak"

  • Junior Club Nights

    Junior squash club night will begin for the year on the first Friday in term 2 2014.

    Due to numbers the times have slightly altered to allow the juniors more court time and to spread the group out more. The times are;
    Fridays 4.00pm – 4.45pm (for younger beginners who haven't played before)
    4.45pm – 5.30pm (intermediate group)
    5.30pm – 6.15pm (advanced group)

    On each Friday during the school term, the nights will be a mix of matchplay, fun games and coaching tips. It will be run by the club's new Squash Club Coach, Ricardo Stanley

    It is free to all junior members and only $5.00 to non members

  • Casual Squash Bookings

    Courts are available for hire on a casual basis on weekdays when the club is open.

    To book a court, please ring the club office on 625 7191.

    Visitors Fees are $10 per person for a 45 minute booking. Bookings are limited in busy time between 5pm-8pm for casual bookings.

    Racquets are also available for hire for $2 each and squash balls available for $1.
