  • From the Club Manager...

It's been a busy few months at the club, with the corridor and stairway painted, new gym equipment, the garage sale having taken place. We have the beginning of the winter tennis competition starting and business house tennis busy on Monday and Wednesday night. The start of the squash season is upon us with the clubs interclub teams performing really well and our first tournament of the year is in a couple of weeks . The A2 and below tournament sponsored by DB Breweries is from 23rd – 25th April, entries close 17th April, please contact the office if you would like to get your name down or if you know of someone else who would like to enter.

The squash tournaments don't stop there, the following week the club has its 2nd squash tournament of the year which is the Royal Oak Masters tournament sponsored by Barfoot and Thompson 30th April – 2nd May, entries close 24th April.

I would like to congratulate the clubs Ladies Caro Bowl Reserve team who won the Caro Bowl Reserve league this year an excellent effort. Not only did the club win this but also the inaugural Junior Caro Bowl Competition for this year. This is a fantastic achievement for the girls and the club and shows that the junior players at the club are some of the best in the country.
