The 2011 ROYAL OAK GOLF CLASSIC
Thank you to all those who supported this Caro Bowl fundraising event as once again we came close to 70 entries. The Grange once again hosted The Classic and we had some great weather and a lot of fun out on the course. A special thanks to Andrew Craw and SOUTH AUCKLAND MAZDA without whom we couldn’t run this event and also to DEAN & JULIE KEVEN from TASSPRINT for their fabulous contribution and support to the Classic. We ask that you make every effort to show our appreciation by giving South Auckland Mazda and Tassprint the opportunity to assist you or your business in their respective areas of expertise.
The Ladies Champion this year was Vase Smith on 92 and the Mens competition was won by Brett Rowley on a count back over James Greenhalgh with a net score of 75.
The shot of the day had to go to Marc Taylor who had a hole in one on the 11th. Congratulations Marc!
It was a fabulous day and we were successful in raising just over $5000. Many thanks to all those sponsors, players, volunteers and raffle ticket purchasers. Your support is greatly appreciated and we look forward to seeing you at The Classic in 2012.
