  • From the Club Manager

    I would like to thank everyone who helped out with the working bee for the Royal Oak Opens. David Jacobson, Gary & Angela, Vernon Choy, Denise Walker, Martin Ratcliffe, David Crompton, Adrian King, Lily Boucher and Maria Woolf. You all did a fantastic job of making the club and the courts look excellent.

    The club held its open Tournaments for both Squash and Tennis over the weekend and both were very successful. With over 150 entries for the squash and over 120 for the tennis. The turn out for the tournaments was fantastic and the club was buzzing over the weekend with people watching the tennis and squash. Congratulations to all of the winners and those who took part in the tournaments.
    During the tournament the club had a digital camera kindly donated by Samsung. The raffle was successful is raising $360.00 and the Winner was Dave Wortherspoon. Well Done!

  • Tennis Interclub

    Tennis interclub registration needs to be completed by Tuesday 18th August. If you are interested in taking part in interclub, please let Angela or Gary know ASAP, so that they can arrange teams and get you in.

  • Membership Renewals

    Tennis memberships are due for renewal by the end of August. If you have not received your invoice please contact the club office. Can you please make sure that you inform the office of any changes to your circumstances or contact details

  • Membership Refferal Offer

    We have a fantastic offer for any member who refers a friend or family member to us. When they join the club either as a full senior member or just tennis/squash senior, you will receive a $50.00 bar tab! Please contact Brett in the office to take us up on this brilliant offer and for further details.

  • Grants received

    The club has received 2 new grants recently from the Producers Trust for a new treadmill in the gym and from The Four Winds Trust for a photocopier in the club office. The club would like to acknowledge the support of both these trusts, and without their help equipment like this would not be able to purchased for the club.

  • Squash News

    The Royal Oak Open was very successful with over 150 entries from clubs all around Auckland. The tournament would not have been so successful if it was not for the hard work of Annamarie, Tracey, Glen, Vernon, Kathy and Dinesh.
    The club did have some success at the tournament with Kelvin McKinstry reaching the final on Mens 1, Johnathan Choy reaching the finals of Mens 3, Simon Bish Winning Mens 5 and Cameron Whalen winning Mens 6 in an all Royal Oak final.
