The Royal Oak Golf Classic
Every year since 2005, the Tennis Committe has run our annual golf fundraising event to support the Clubs top Interclub teams (Caro Bowl) and our developing juniors.This enables the Club to provide a pathway for their players without any financial cost to the Club.

The format is a Team Ambrose (4 players) and is open to any member, family or friend that wishes to play. We have a limit of around 100 players for the day and spots fill up quickly. It has become a very popular annual event for both golfers and non golfers alike.
Whilst predominatly funding the Caro Bowl teams, fund have also been used to upgrade facilities at the Club that benefit all members that in recent years inludes:
New drop downs on the deck
Chilled water on the Tennis Court
Upgrade of Audio equipment
New Bar Fridge
In 2023, the Tennis Committee decided to put all excess funds towards the upgrade of the Tennis courts. This will be due anytime from late 2025 onwards at a cost of $120k+.
